Rainbow
I am not sure if I prefer a rainy summer or a summer of drought. This year on/in the Northern Prairies rain has been abundantly released! It has rained non-stop for the last three days, craziness.
The bonus:
My flowers are huge! However, because of the wet weather they are just starting to bloom and it is August.
And there has been some amazing declarations of God's goodness towards us displayed in the heavens. Following are a few pictures (which are not the greatest, but will show the awesomeness of God's greatness) and verses on what God's word has to say about rainbows:
Genesis 9:13--"I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth."
Genesis 9:16--"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
Ezekiel 1:28--"Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell face down, and I heard the voice of one speaking."
Revelation 4:3--"And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne."
Revelation 10:1--"Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars."
I am back from my week at the lake, which was incredible! My husband and I have been married 27 years, and this is the first time we had no children with us, or a mission. All we had to do was enjoy the sun, which by the way lasted right until we came home on Friday.
We were truly blessed by the warm weather, finding rest in God, and being in each others company.
I now enter fall mode...and summer still has not fully arrived on the Prairies...go figure!
With Love
Robin
P.S. Life without internet is/was wonderful!
However, unlike the television it won't be a habit I can forget or get rid of completely. Moderation is the key!

I barely know anything about her and now I find out she has a lot of books out. So much to learn!
I so love rainbows. Whenever I see one, I'm in awe and breathe in the refreshment of what it truly exemplifys...Promises, His Promises. Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for filling my heart even more as I gazed into your pictures.
I Love you sweet sister,
Praying with you,

One evening we were out at a shopping mall and there was the most beautiful double rainbow I had ever seen. How I wished for my camera. Now I keep it in my purse all the time. You never know when a photo op will present itself. Your rainbow pictures are beautiful.

Sorjourner, yes and no for gearing up for fall. I have two classes left to finish my diploma. Yeah!
I still have one paper to write and I will be done this weekend. My marks came back on the last two papers and it has encouraged me that I can write! LOL My next class begins on Oct 16. However, I have a fall conference for seniors coming up on September, and with fall brings major ministries starting up in my church...lots of prep!
Thanks for asking.
Alle, my dear friend thanks for coming over to my corner of the world. Your words bless me. How are things going with your husband?
Charlotte it has been a blessing to meet you and Clif. I need to start taking more pictures.
Love to all of you...
