Not sure how I ended up doing a word search in the Bible on the word comfort, but I have been blessed because I did. I believe in a world full of deception it is vital I know who my God is. Here are some of the scriptures that have the word comfort in the text. My prayer is that you will be blessed as much as I was in reading each one out loud.

Websters Definition of comfort: to soothe in distress and sorrow, one that comforts, a state of, or anything that provides, ease and quiet enjoyment.

O Great God of Comfort…
· Genesis 5:29
He named him Noah [ Noah sounds like the Hebrew for comfort . ] and said, "He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed."
· Ruth 2:13
