Honesty

The last month has been full, and hectic at times, but in all good for my soul. I have a fragile system and when I am going to fast my world will crumble in with emotions.

Well, today I had a day full of emotions. When I arrived home, full of self pity and woes, I watched this video (Blessed be Your Name) and realized life really is not that terrible.

I am learning to say "Blessed be your name." Even through the emotions. I totally cried after watching the video.

My prayer and heart cry is in all I experience in life God will be glorified and I will bless His name.

Love to all,

Robin

Thank you Robin. I sent my wife the link to this as well.

My favorite from this video is "Mark" who "suffers from depression"... "every day". I like the relational honesty of one just continuing to show-up and meet the Lord in the open pages of the bible, "just as I am".

This song lifts my spirits. We sing it at church and I always get carried away to loftier heights with it. Thanks for sharing it!

Hope your schedule begins to slow down for you! I am entering a hectic one this next month (October). wb

He always rejuvenates us when we come into His presence...I like that song because it has a faster tempo when I play it in my guitar and just sets my mood to really sing from the heart. May He sustain you with His strength. Blessings.

thank you all for your comments. Today was the end of a long stretch of pulling plans together. I am off for 12 days which will be a great retrieve.

Last year, I had the honor of attending a concert by Steven Curtis Chapman, 4 months after the death of his daughter. He opened with this song. It has meant even more to me. Beautiful words of worship indeed.
