Awaken the Watchmen

Since 1999, I have felt the hunger and passion to pray for my nation and the world. My prayer is God will continue to draw me to be a watchman on the wall. I pray the spirit of intercession will fall upon me in even a stronger way.

I feel called, but have no idea where God is leading me with this deep passion, so I will continue to pray on my own in my prayer closet until He reveals more.

If you have thoughts on 24/7 prayer and watchmen for the nations please comment.

“If men would pray as they ought to pray, the marvels of the past would be more than reproduced. The Gospel would advance with a facility and power it has never known. Doors would be thrown open to the Gospel, and the Word of God would have a conquering force rarely if ever known before.” E. M. Bounds

I just listened through every song on your playlist. Great selection!

Initial thoughts, if you are thinking of praying for the persecuted around the world: Heb. 13:3 "as if you yourselves were suffering" -- is how we should pray. This requires a willingness to be vulnerable, to hurt and suffer, too.

More thoughts brewing...

yipeng: Hey thanks for being an encourager! I still believe God is going to use you to be bold. My list reflects my heart passion--to be closer to Jesus.

Monica: I believe when we walk through suffering ourselves we understand and have authority to pray. The call to intercession has been strong call in my life. On DAB--Brian Hardin has felt the call to intercession and being part of a 24/7 prayer. I had a call in my heart five years ago to start a 24/7 prayer room but it has not come to fruition.
