Bubbly

I enjoyed listening to this soft, warm summer song, while it is still blowing winter outside. Spring sure would be nice...

I am not sure why, but YouTube would not let this song post on my blog. I placed it as number one on my play list. This song bought a smile to my face after a full day of life. It is just a plain fun song that brought out the romantic within me.

My husband makes me smile, Haliey makes me smile, and most of all, thoughts of Christ make me smile!

Haliey (5) was cute at kids church tonight. She went up to everyone and shook their hand telling them her name.

"Hi, I am Haliey." As she reaches for their hands, looking them straight in the face with her big blue eyes.

God has Haliey close to His heart. I am blessed to have her and her family in my life. This Grandma of choice bubbles inside as she watches Haliey grow within Christ's family.

I pray she stays awhile, and I can continue to smile as I engage life with her daily.

What makes you smile or gets you all bubbly inside, I would love to know...?

imagining your Hailey in church made me smile - i used to present the children's sermon every Sunday morning and that never failed to make me feel bubbly inside - btw the song you mentioned is top on my jogging songs - go figure!

I love the Lord. I love people. I love to laugh. I love my family. I love music and love to dance (and sing). Pleasing and serving others who are in need All these things and so much more make me smile and feel bubbly inside. Reading your post made me feel that way. I love visiting here. It's a nice place to kick back and get refreshed.

Thoughts from Philippians 1:3-11

Blogger is losing my words today! It is good to be back into routine, however it was good to get away from the daily demands. I am posting a few points from the sermon I will be giving tomorrow night at a seniors service in my community. The title of my sermon is "Thanksgiving and Prayer"--It is Thanksgiving on Monday here in Canada. Philippians 1:3-5 Point One: Paul viewed the past with a thankful heart to God. In this passage, Paul demonstrates how to view the past by having a thankful heart towards God for all that he has been given. He was able to be content because when he looked at the past he did so with a thankful heart. He recognized that in Christ he was able to do all things and the key was to be thankful for God’s direction and the encouragement he received from other believers. The six "I will" statements from Psalm 118

1. vs 6 "I will not be afraid." 2. vs 7 "I will look in triumph on my enemies." 3. vs 17 "I will not die but live." 4. vs 17 "I will proclaim what the Lord has done." 5. vs 19 "I will enter and give thanks to the Lord." 6. vs 21 "I will give Him thanks." When a spiritual battle is raging around us, we need to remember who is with us. We need to keep our eyes focused on Christ. God is always with us, he is our helper when conflict and spiritual warfare is upon us. When we are steadfast in our faith, and focused completely on Jesus we will be able to say as the Psalmist has written, "I will..."
