Explanation for the Calla Lilies

Taking the course in "Spirituality and Ministry" has opened a door to draw. Keeping a daily journal now includes an art journal.

Calla lilies are one of the Creator's best, a reflection of perfect splendor, simple yet elegant, and full of strength and beauty.

"Open to receive," is a symbol of when a person is open to God; he will pour forth his grace and love to be the inner light in all that they do.

"Encircled in God's love," represents how God is always pouring down his love by His Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5

"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has pour out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has give us." Romans 5:5 NIV

"And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love." Romans 5:5 NLT

Without the touch of red these callas would just be plain lilies - black and white containing no life. As with the drawings when God is centre of our life we are not boring or without life; he becomes our life and the adventure never ends. His love leads us to color His world.

Blessings,
Robin
