Prayer Walking

It seems God is not finished with me concerning prayer walking. A close friend and I have committed ourselves to walk the many different communities in our city over the fall and winter month's. We are going to follow our personal trainer Jesus as we step out in faith. A deep desire in both of us it that in each community groups of two will come forth to pray for their area and that those who do not know Christ will have a stirring in their hearts to seek for truth. Here I am fall, and this topic has not gone to the wayside. It has been just simmering all summer and now is the time to turn the passion back on. Prayer walking last Friday bought hope, a sense that God was going to do amazing things, and that the Holy Spirit was leading. "An what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" Prayer Walking

With summer having many unexpected events, there were a few that I need to mention and remember as gifts from God. One of the gifts of adventure was meeting Darlene Polachic the religiouis writer for the Star Phonix. She asked me if I would be interested in talking with her concerning the topic of prayer walking. First, the only reason I agreed to being interviewed by Darlene Polachic concerning prayer walking was it would be used by God and all glory would go to Him, secondly many people would decided to prayer walk themselves, thirdly that people who do not think of God at all would ponder our Father in heaven. After this article was published a friend of my daughters told me with tears flowing down her face, she could not believe people would acually take time to pray for others. Wow...this comment was what I hoped would come from this adventure. Apolozies for not posting this article sooner.
